Sri Lanka is a holiday destination on the bucket list for surfers worldwide. At our Sri Lanka surf camp, we offer surf lessons from level 1 to level 3 with a maximum of five students per instructor. Improve your surfing in warm tropical waters (no need for wetsuits!) with the help of our professional local instructors. The mellow waves, empty lineups and dreamy surroundings make Ahangama the perfect place to improve your surfing skills.

Every season has its charm
Since Sri Lanka is so close to the equator, the temperatures linger around a perfect 27 degrees all year round. In the southern part of the island, where our surf camp is located, the dry season runs from December through March and the wet season from May to September.
We love all the seasons, as even the wet season, or 'green season' as we call it, brings mostly sunny days, but with occasional, invigorating showers in the afternoon.

What to expect
A day under the coconut trees
If you're as stoked as us, you can start your day with a sunrise surf at the beach just across the road from our surf camp in Ahangama, Sri Lanka. There is also the opportunity to do morning yoga on the roof, which is an experience you don't want to miss. Surf, zen and sunrise is a killer combo - and definitely key ingredients when looking for the best surf camp in Sri Lanka! Afterwards, you can dig into a delicious breakfast of Sri Lankan specialities, fresh fruit and western favourites.
After breakfast, we go to the surf spots by tuk-tuks, which is an amazing event in itself. We can assure you that cruising along the beach road with morning tunes on the sound system and wind in your hair is a refreshing change from the Übers of your hometown.
Regardless of your skill level, surfing in Sri Lanka gives you many awesome spots to choose from. Our surf lessons in Ahangama are given at picture-perfect beaches, the ideal setting for the surf trip of your dreams.
After the surf session with the professional coaches at our surfing school, you're free to chill by the pool with a smoothie bowl, explore the local area or join one of our activities.
Experience the local culture up close at a tea party with a local family or get involved with nature and join us to the turtle hatchery. We also go on safaris to see wild elephants and trek into the rainforest on the quest for waterfalls and epic cliff-jumping spots. As you will soon discover – Sri Lanka is a melting pot of action, beauty, contrasts and colours. We've fallen madly in love with this island, and we're sure you will too.
