At our Nicaragua surf camp, we’re all about surfing, which is why we surf up to two times a day and focus on relaxation while we’re out of the water. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you’ll get the perfect balance of improving your surf skills in uncrowded lineups and recharging your batteries on land during this surf holiday.




Beginner: No previous surfing experience is needed
Surf - Level 1

Join the joy of surfing on the pristine shores of Los Clavos! Nicaragua’s uncrowded beaches and beginner-friendly waves make it the perfect spot to start your surf journey.
In our Level 1 course, you’ll learn the basics of surfing, from paddling to standing up, all while enjoying the warm water and laid-back Central American vibe. Get ready to ride the whitewater and experience the thrill of your first wave in this tropical haven!
Ratio: Maximum 3 students per instructor
Lower intermediate: Around one week of surfing experience requested (~8 surfing days)
Surf - Level 2

Surf lush, uncrowded waves in Los Clavos, where perfect green waves await Level 2 surfers. Gain confidence paddling out (without worrying about overcrowded lineups!), reading the waves, and turning on Nicaragua’s stunning breaks. With personalized feedback from our instructors and endless warm water, you’ll level up your surfing in a laid-back, tropical setting.
Ratio: Maximum 3 students per instructor
Intermediate: Around 2 months of surfing experience requested (~40 surfing days)
Surf - Level 3

For Level 3 surfers, Nicaragua’s playful waves provide the perfect mix of challenge and fun. You’ll sharpen your decision-making, work on holding speed in the wave’s pocket, and learn to adapt to the varied conditions.
With stunning sunsets and warm waves, Los Clavos is the ultimate backdrop to your journey toward becoming an independent surfer.

Advanced: Around 3 months of surfing experience requested (~65 surfing days)
Surf - Level 4

Los Clavos is your ticket to advanced surfing in uncrowded lineups with reliable waves year-round. Surfing at Level 4 focuses on advanced maneuvers like roundhouse cutbacks and basic turns on waves that range from playful peaks to fast, powerful sections.
Our instructors will guide you through fine-tuning your technique, understanding local surf dynamics, and building confidence in surfing overhead waves. Surrounded by good vibes, this is the ideal setting for mastering your surf performance.

Nicaragua has some world-class surf spots close to the camp that we’ll head out to daily. We’ll go in groups of four surfers and one coach to ensure personalized attention and tailored instructions to help you maximize your surf progress. We’ll take you to the best breaks and hidden gems along Nicaragua's coastline!
Ratio: Maximum 4 surfers per coach
