Our surf courses in Nicaragua

At our Nicaragua surf camp, we’re all about surfing, which is why we surf twice a day and focus on relaxation while we’re out of the water. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you’ll get the perfect balance of improving your surf skills in uncrowded lineups and recharging your batteries on land during this surf holiday.

BEGINNER - 0-4 HOURS SURF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Surf - Level 1

If you have never tried surfing before or want to get back to basics after a long time on land, this level is for you! You’ll go to a beginner-friendly surf spot nearby together with a small group and one of our professional instructors.


Level 1 is for you if:

  • You want to catch your first wave in tropical water

  • You want to learn surfing basics, like paddling, pop-up and riding white water waves without a crowd

  • You want to know surfing rules and etiquette

  • You want to surf with experienced surf instructors and get personalized feedback


Ratio: Maximum 3 students per instructor

INTERMEDIATE - 10 HOUR SURF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Surf - Level 2

If you have some surfing experience and want to continue to improve, surfing level 2 in Nicaragua is the level for you. Here, you’ll get to work on your green wave rides without worrying about overcrowded lineups. Together with a small group and an experienced instructor, you’ll improve in no time! 


Level 2 is for you if:

  • You have already surfed before and want to continue to improve without a crowd

  • You want to catch green waves with more confidence 

  • You want to deepen your understanding of surfing, the rules of the lineup and surf etiquette 

  • You want to feel comfortable in all types of surfing conditions 

  • You want to experience the world-class waves of Nicaragua 


Ratio: Maximum 3 students per instructor

​​INDEPENDENT - 60 HOURS SURF EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Surf - Level 3

Nicaragua level 3

Nicaragua is the perfect place to grow as a surfer while being in a laid-back atmosphere, surrounded by great vibes and plenty of surf gems. The level 3 course will challenge you to exit your comfort zone in a place most surfers only dream about visiting. 


Level 3 is for you if:

  • You feel pretty confident with your surfing and want to take it to the next level

  • You want to improve at analyzing the spots and reading the ocean 

  • You want to have more knowledge about surf safety, rules and etiquette 


Ratio: Maximum 3 students per instructor

Nicaragua has some world-class surf spots close to the camp that we’ll head out to daily. We’ll go in groups of four surfers and one coach to ensure personalized attention and tailored instructions to help you maximize your surf progress. We’ll take you to the best breaks and hidden gems along Nicaragua's coastline!
