Premium Surf CampNicaragua, Los Clavos
Beachfront bliss and empty lineups
Welcome to Nicaragua, the land of Lakes and Volcanos – and amazing surfing! Enjoy living in our cozy bungalows just steps away from the surf spots. With waves breaking right in front of the surf camp and the beach practically all to ourselves, this is your chance to surf until your heart's content.
Surf courses
Two sessions a day at our favorite surf spots
Before each surf session, we chose the best spot to head out to, depending on the day's conditions. We always try to surf in uncrowded breaks in small groups of three students together with one of our professional surf instructors (to ensure personal attention and maximum progress for each session!). We’re also offering surf guiding for surfers seeking more challenging breaks.

In the heart of Nicaragua, with the surf spots in our backyard
Our home in Nicaragua is in a remote area by the ocean. You’ll find a spacious beach break in our backyard to the right, and after just a short beach stroll to the left, you will find the world-famous surf spot, the BOOM, celebrated for its thrilling tubes.
Nearby is also the hidden gem of Nahulapa, which offers nice left and rights. With the mission of surfing in empty lineups and exploring off the beaten path, our camp promises an authentic surf experience that reminds us of Santa Teresa two decades ago.

Surroundings
The Land of Lakes and Volcanoes
Bordered by Honduras to the north and Costa Rica to the south, Nicaragua often remains a lesser-known destination to many travelers – but it’s well worth a visit! It’s celebrated for its stunning nature, vibrant culture, and some of the best surf spots in the world. Our home in Nicaragua offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure.
Chill at our camp or discover why Nicaragua is known as The Land of Lakes and Volcanoes: Nicaragua is the home of the largest freshwater lake in Central America, Lake Nicaragua. Additionally, Nicaragua offers many impressive volcanoes (some still active!) that dot the landscape.

What to expect
A day at our Nicaragua surf camp
Wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee as the first rays of sunlight peek into your cozy bungalow at our Nicaragua surf camp. Head out together with a small group of fellow surfers to the break in our backyard and paddle out to the empty lineup to catch the first waves of the day.
After working up an appetite in the surf, return to camp for a delicious breakfast consisting of both local and western favorites together with your newfound camp friends. Relax at the camp, play card games or read a good book by the pool.
After lunch, we head back to the beach, where we hide from the heat in the shade with a cold beverage while soaking up the laid-back vibes and the salty breeze of the ocean. Then we jump into the waves again.
As the sun begins to set, we’re chasing the last golden waves before returning to the camp for a well-deserved dinner and rest. We’re gathering for a delicious dinner and sharing meals and memories before unwinding with a game or a good movie.
With tomorrow's promising surf forecast in mind, we head back to our bungalows for an early night's sleep. At our Nicaragua camp, we really are embracing the old-school way of surf camps.
Sustainability
The beach is our home. We are leaving it better than we found it.
We have made a commitment to our ocean, beaches and community. They are our playground, our home and our livelihood. We are going to leave them better than we found them. That means that all our employees, friends and guests helps out with recycling and taking other actions for the environment. Each week there are beach cleaning and recycling activities to ensure that our home stays the way it was supposed to be.
