  • Passport

  • Beachwear

  • Sunglasses

  • Towels: We provide bath towels, but please bring your own beach towels.

  • Plastic bottles: At Lapoint, we destroy waves, not the planet. Therefore, as a part of our sustainability program, we don’t sell any plastic bottles and try to limit the use of plastic at the camp. In doing so, please bring a reusable water bottle for your trip to Costa Rica. If you don’t own one, don’t worry, we sell environmentally friendly aluminium water bottles at the camp.

  • Sunscreen: Be aware that the UV index in Costa Rica is very high, so please use sunscreen for living the dream here in paradise! To reduce pollution, we recommend using Oxybenzone-free products to help conserve the ocean, our favourite playground. We sell environmentally friendly zinc at the camp.

Sustainability

The beach is our home. We are leaving it better than we found it.

We have made a commitment to our ocean, beaches and community. They are our playground, our home and our livelihood. We are going to leave them better than we found them. That means that all our employees, friends and guests helps out with recycling and taking other actions for the environment. Each week there are beach cleaning and recycling activities to ensure that our home stays the way it was supposed to be.
