During the dry season, you’ll find small waves and it’s a great time for beginners and intermediate surfers to visit Santa Teresa, but there are great conditions all year round. After a five-minute walk from the surf camp, you’re right by one of our favorite surf spots. Here we teach surfing levels 1, 2 and 3 with a ratio of a maximum of three students per instructor. With the mile-long beaches and swaying palm trees of the jungle as your backdrop, what could be better?

Located close to the Equator, Costa Rica has warm weather all year round. The dry season runs from December through March, offering dry and sunny days under a clear blue sky.
From May-November it's the rainy season or 'green season' as we call it, with lush nature and waterfalls full of life. There is plenty of sunshine this time of year as well, but with occasional tropical rain in the afternoons. The vibe and waves are equally amazing year-round.
